In a sunny week end, the first edition of the Argentina Rugby Festival 2007 was held in the facilities of Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires, for the Under 18 and Under 15 Female categories.

Divided into pools of 6 teams each, more than 230 players of South Africa , United States of America , Uruguay and Argentina , spent 4 days filled with Hockey, fun and frienship.

Banco Nación in M15 and Ciudad de Buenos Aires in M18 were the champions after the finals played on Saturday against Banfield and Club Italiano.

The star of argentine hockey, Luciana Aymar, showed up the day of the finals and interacted with players and public.

Aymar gave in the awards for MVP of the finals: Ailin Oviedo from Club Italiano in M15 and Pilar Campoamor from Banco Nación in M18

• Highlights The opening Ceremony, that had a parade with all teams who were involved in the tournamnet, and the presence of the host club authorities (Mr. Oscar Ferreira), of the Panamerican Hockey Confederation and the International Hockey Federation (Mrs. Ana Vinue de Romanelli), of Cecilia Baccigalupo Fundation (Mrs. Cecilia Baccigalupo) and of Team Sports Ltd. (Mr. Manuel Terán).

• The Malambo Show perfomed by Grupo Raíces, that showed the all the skills of Pampas Gauchos.
  

• The presence of the kids of Cecilia Baccigalupo Fundation, who shared some playing time with the players of the tourmanent.. A touching and unforgettable moment for everybody at Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
  

• The presence of the bigest delegation in the tourmanent, Club Atlético Banfield.
  

• The strong friendship that was borned between the girls of Hans Christian Andersen School and Liceo Francés School fo Uruguay , who were hosted in the argentina grirls houses.
  
  
• The basic skills clinic given by Santiago Capurro, former player of the Argentine Nacional Team and actually a member of the national coaching staff.
  
  
• The facilities of the host club, Ciudad de Buenos Aires, with two of the best astro turf hockey fields in South America , confortable dressing rooms and lots of open spaces for the players to spend their free time.
  
  
• The great attitude of all the club´s staff.
  
  
• The commemorative plates ans pictures that the organization gave to all the teams.
  
  
• The high hockey skills shown by the players Pilar Campoamor and Emilia Monín of Banco Nación; and by Suyai Cozza, Banfield´s goal keeper.
  
  
• The exhibition made by the USA Female Under 18 National Team and by the Uruguay Female National Team , that played against each other and against the strongest teams in Argentina : Ciudad, San Fernando and CASI, among others.
  
  
• The karaoke show, in wich the stars were the girls from Banfield and Banco Nación from Argentina ; and the girls fron South Africa and USA .
  
  
• The great attitude shown by Lucian Aymar, who possed for lots of pictures and signed tones of autographs for each person on saturday´s afternoon.
  
  
• The Argentina Hockey Festival´s t-shirts and the posters.
  
  
• The bond made between the girls from South Africa and USA .
  
  
• The closing Asado shared by all the teams.
  
  
• The musical show presented by the girls from the USA Team.
  
  
• The high level shown by referees, that honored the AHF with their presence and their professionalism.

• The fact we´ll have this event in 2008 and 2009 again in Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
